大卫和以色列众人就在上帝面前用琴、瑟、鼓、钹和号奏乐，尽情歌舞。

工人立耶和华殿的根基时，祭司身穿礼服拿着号角，利未人亚萨的子孙拿着钹各就各位，照以色列王大卫所定的规矩赞美耶和华。他们彼此唱和，赞美、称谢耶和华，说：“祂是美善的，因为祂向以色列人永施慈爱！”所有人都高声欢呼赞美耶和华，因为耶和华殿的根基已经立好。

要吹响号角赞美祂，要弹琴鼓瑟赞美祂！要击鼓跳舞赞美祂，要拨弦吹笛赞美祂！要击响铙钹赞美祂，用响亮的钹声赞美祂！

普世要向耶和华欢呼，欢欢喜喜地高声颂扬。要弹奏竖琴歌颂耶和华，伴着琴声唱诗歌颂祂。要伴随着号角声在大君王耶和华面前欢呼。

所有负责歌乐的利未人亚萨、希幔、耶杜顿，以及他们的儿子和亲族都穿着细麻布衣服，站在祭坛的东边，敲钹、鼓瑟、弹琴，同时还有一百二十位祭司吹号。吹号的和歌乐手一起同声赞美和称谢耶和华，伴随着号、钹及各种乐器的声音，高声赞美耶和华：“祂是美善的，祂的慈爱永远长存！”那时，有云彩充满了耶和华的殿，

大卫和全体以色列人在欢呼声和号角声中把耶和华的约柜迎进大卫城。

歌唱的在前，奏乐的殿后，摇手鼓的少女居中。

万民啊，你们要鼓掌，向上帝高声欢呼！因为至高者耶和华当受敬畏，祂是普天下的大君王。祂使列国降服于我们，让列邦伏在我们脚下。祂为我们选定产业，就是祂所爱的雅各引以为荣的产业。（细拉）在欢呼声中，上帝登上宝座；在号角声中，耶和华登上宝座。
