說：“在我的神面前，我絕對不可以這樣作，我怎能喝這些冒生命危險的人的血呢？因為這是他們冒生命危險取回來的。”因此大衛不肯喝這水。這是三個勇士所行的事。

说：“我的神啊，这三个人冒死去打水，这水好像他们的血一般，我断不敢喝！”如此，大卫不肯喝。这是三个勇士所做的事。

说：“我的上帝啊，我绝不做这事！这些人冒死去打水，这水是他们用生命换来的，我怎能喝他们的血呢？”大卫不肯喝这水。这是三个勇士所做的事。

说：“我的神啊，我绝不做这事！这些人冒死去打水，这水是他们用生命换来的，我怎能喝他们的血呢？”大卫不肯喝这水。这是三个勇士所做的事。

说：“我的上帝啊！这三人冒死去打水，这些水就像是他们的血，我决不能喝。”因此，大卫不肯喝。这是三勇士的事迹。

曰、願我上帝禁我行此、我豈飲冒死者之血乎、蓋彼舍命取之、故不飲、三勇士所為若此、

曰、彼冒死不顧、此水可儗其血、安忍飲之、斷不可為、故不飲。三傑所為大率類此。

我天主歟、此三人冒死不顧、往汲此水、無異其血、我斷不敢飲之、如是、大衛不敢飲此水、此三勇士所為如是、

“ God forbid that I should do this!” he said.“ Should I drink the blood of these men who went at the risk of their lives?” Because they risked their lives to bring it back, David would not drink it. Such were the exploits of the three mighty warriors.

“ I would never drink that water!” David said.“ It would be like drinking the blood of these men. They put their lives in danger by going to Bethlehem.” The men had put their lives in danger by bringing the water back. So David wouldn’t drink it. Those were some of the brave things the three mighty warriors did.

and said,“ Far be it from me before my God that I should do this. Shall I drink the lifeblood of these men? For at the risk of their lives they brought it.” Therefore he would not drink it. These things did the three mighty men.

“ God forbid that I should drink this!” he exclaimed.“ This water is as precious as the blood of these men who risked their lives to bring it to me.” So David did not drink it. These are examples of the exploits of the Three.

David said,“ I would never do such a thing in the presence of my God! How can I drink the blood of these men who risked their lives?” For they brought it at the risk of their lives. So he would not drink it. Such were the exploits of the three warriors.

and he said,“ Far be it from me before my God that I would do this. Shall I drink the blood of these men who went at the risk of their lives? For they brought it at the risk of their lives.” Therefore he would not drink it. The three mighty men did these things.

And he said,“ Far be it from me, O my God, that I should do this! Shall I drink the blood of these men who have put their lives in jeopardy? For at the risk of their lives they brought it.” Therefore he would not drink it. These things were done by the three mighty men.

and said, My God forbid it me, that I should do this: shall I drink the blood of these men that have put their lives in jeopardy? for with the jeopardy of their lives they brought it. Therefore he would not drink it. These things did the three mighty men.

David said,“ I would never do such a thing in the presence of God! How can I drink the blood of these men who risked their lives?” For they brought it at the risk of their lives. So he would not drink it. Such were the exploits of the three warriors.

And said, My God forbid it me, that I should do this thing: shall I drink the blood of these men that have put their lives in jeopardy? for with[ the jeopardy of] their lives they brought it. Therefore he would not drink it. These things did these three mightiest.

and said,“ God forbid that I should do this! Should I drink the blood of these men who risked their lives?” Because they risked their lives to bring it to him, he refused to drink it. Such were the exploits of the three elite warriors.

and said,“ My God forbid me, that I should do this! Shall I drink the blood of these men who have put their lives in jeopardy?” For they risked their lives to bring it. Therefore he would not drink it. The three mighty men did these things.

大衛說：“耶和華啊！我絕對不可作這事。這三個人冒著生命危險去打水，這水不是他們的血嗎？”因此大衛不肯喝那水。這些是那三個勇士所作的事。

他要救他們脫離欺凌和強暴，他們的血在他眼中看為寶貴。

“以色列家的任何人，或是在你們中間寄居的外人，如果吃了任何血，我必向那吃血的人變臉，把他從自己的族人中剪除。

因為我的肉是真正的食物，我的血是真正的飲料。

我們又為甚麼時刻冒險呢？

我父親從前冒死為你們爭戰，把你們從米甸人手中救了出來；

他冒著生命的危險擊殺了那非利士人，耶和華為以色列人施行了大拯救，那時你看見了，也很歡喜。現在你為甚麼要犯罪，無緣無故殺死大衛，流無辜人的血呢？”

可是拿伯對亞哈說：“耶和華絕對不容許我把祖業給你。”

我家裡的人若沒有說：‘誰能找出哪一個沒有飽吃他的肉食的呢？’

西布倫人是敢死的民族；拿弗他利人在田野的高處，奮不顧身。

耶穌說：“這是我的血，是為立約的，為許多人流出來的。

他們為了我的性命，置生死於度外，不但我感激他們，連外族的眾教會也感激他們。

這樣，我們可以說甚麼呢？我們可以常在罪中，叫恩典增多嗎？絕對不可！我們向罪死了的人，怎麼可以仍然活在罪中呢？
