Moses’s Death
1Then Moses went up from the plains of Moab to Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah,34:1–4 Dt 3:27; 32:48; Jos 13:20 which faces Jericho, and the Lord showed him all the land: Gilead as far as Dan,
2all of Naphtali, the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, all the land of Judah as far as the Mediterranean34:2 Lit Western Sea,
3the Negev, and the plain in the Valley of Jericho, the City of Palms, as far as Zoar.
5So Moses the servant of the Lord34:5 Jos 24:29; Jdg 2:8; 2Sm 3:18; 7:5,8; 1Kg 11:13; 14:8; 2Kg 18:12; 19:34; 21:8; Jb 1:8; 42:8; Is 20:3; 41:8–9; 42:1; 44:1; 52:13; 53:11 died there in the land of Moab, according to the Lord’s word.
6He buried him34:6 Or he was buried in the valley34:6 Nm 21:20 in the land of Moab facing Beth-peor, and no one to this day knows where his grave is.34:6 Jd 9
7Moses was one hundred twenty years old when he died; his eyes were not weak, and his vitality had not left him.

11He was unparalleled for all the signs and wonders the Lord sent him to do against the land of Egypt — to Pharaoh, to all his officials, and to all his land —
